History

The “Vogue” dance style that was born and developed in New York in the 80’s has become a huge hit in Europe during the past few years.
It is one of the fastest growing dance styles in the curriculum of Finnish dance schools and there are barely enough teachers to satisfy the demand.

The first ever Vogue ball (Hell Sinkin’ Ball) as the Vogue parties/competitions are called, organized in Helsinki in September 2011 was a huge success with over 50 top contestants from 7 countries and over 800 spectators.

Snowball will be arranged at the Astoria Hall in Helsinki on 4.2.2012. The best Voguers from all over Europe and almost 1000 spectators are expected to attend the contest that will be judged by Leiomy (USA), Danielle Polanco (USA), Nunney Karma (USA) and commentated by Dashaun Evisu (USA).

There will also be guest performances by Vogue’ology (USA) and VoGuenon (FIN) at the ball.
