Rules
The competition will be run according to the official rules of Juste Debout. The same rules will apply at the Paris final.
The contest is run as 2 vs. 2 battle in Hip Hop newstyle, House, Popping and Locking), 1 vs. 1 battle in Top Rock) and solos in the Experimental category.
Each pair can consist of dancers of same or opposite sex. No limitations/restrictions regarding dancers’ age or nationality.
Competition music arranged by the organizer.
The competition area is 8 x 8 m.
The competition wil be run in two parts in the battle styles:
Pre-selections (1 min. showcase per pair / dancer (Top Rock)) & Battles (8 best pairs / dancers (top rock) in each style from the pre-selections – quarter final battles, semifinal battles and final battle).
Only one routine per pair per battle allowed in 2vs2 – battles!
In Experimental the length of a solo is 1 minute. There are three rounds in the competition, qualification round, semifinal (12-16 dancers) and final (6 dancers).
Registration
Registration ends on-line latest on 3.2.2012 at http://register.juste-debout.com/en/FI/subscription.
On 4.2.2012 registration at the venue (if places left).
The organizer reserves the right to limit the amount of participants and end registration before this date.
Registration fee: 20 € / dancer (1st category) and 10 € for any additional categories each.
The competition will be videotaped and photographed. By sending the registration the contestant grants the organizer the rights to use any video or photo material of the contestant for organizer’s own or commercial purposes.
Check-In
Advance check-in is mandatory for all competitors. The registration fee is payable (in cash) during check-in.

Rights to schedule changes reserved.
Prizes
The winners of each Juste Debout style will have their travel expenses to the final in Paris covered by the organizer (Max. 450 € / person. Travel arrangements will be run through the Finnish Street Dance Federation (no exceptions!).)
All winners will be awarded with trophies and all finalists will receive diplomas. Winners will also get headphones from Steez.
Insurance
The competitors are not insured by the competition organizer.
